Lately there has been a bunch of noise made from the anti-gun crowd that the so-called “lax gun laws” (read that Second Amendment Rights) is strengthening the Mexican drug gangs. They, along with the Mexican government want to restrict our God-given rights to Keep and Bear Arms.

A woman fears getting killed by her abusive husband and applies to the court to help her. Normally I would not have a problem with that. I would probably teach her how to handle a gun safely.
I would also instruct her in some quick tactical methods to protect herself in case the police do not respond to a 911 call in time. Unless they are already at her door, they would not be able to arrive in time to thwart a husband who decided to kill his wife. We are all aware that police officers may sometimes have to arrest an extremely dangerous and presumably well-armed criminal. They often use a no-knock policy and just bust down the door of the house in the middle of the night, rapidly go in and arrest or kill, if necessary, the criminal.
