Rush created Club Gitmo. I confess could not resist buying a few orange Gitmo T-shirts and wearing them at a hotel NEA meeting and PO-ing a few liberal educators. All of this prisoner torture ssssssssssssssstuff in the news is starting to turn my stomach. Those “poor innocent kidnapped people” in Club Gitmo are actually treated better than they were treated in their own countries.
They have food prepared strictly to all the Muslim rules and are adequately fed; most of them actually gained weight. They were not fed that well when they were killing Americans.
They receive the best medical care our tax dollars can buy, which is better than what the Veterans Administration gives to our own troops returning from the field and a lot better than any government-provided care (England, Canada, etc.) is supplied in socialist countries – soon to be appearing in United States offices if Obama and the liberal congress gets their own way with their un-healthy care system.
They are provided with free Korans and even have calls to prayer broadcast over loud speakers by a Muslim during the appropriate times. The cells are even marked so they know the exact direction to face Mecca.
In return, they throw excrement and urine at our troops guarding them, try to hurt them when receiving their dinner, tear up their Korans to stuff up their toilets, and even rub feces on themselves when our troops need to move them to another location in the compound. They do everything they can to hurt our military personnel.
Our troops are instructed to endure all of this and are even reprimanded when they are forced to defend themselves by restraining the enemy combatants that would slit American throats of they had half the chance.
We need to change this.
Water boarding, sleep deprivation, being slammed into a Hollywood fake wall and other advanced interrogation techniques were used to save American lives and not one of these techniques permanently harmed any of the terrorists who were captured fighting Americans and sent to Gitmo.
In fact, these and other advances techniques were a mandatory part of training for all of our soldiers. WHAT? You say you didn’t know all out troops were trained in these techniques? No, they were not trained in these techniques, but they were subjected to these methods as part of their training on what to expect if these methods were used on them. Read more »
One of the first things Barack Hussein Obama did was to sign an executive decree from his throne shutting down Gitmo. For those of you who are totally uninformed and still chanting the Yes we can and change mantras, Gitmo is the place where the baddest of the bad in the war on terrorism are kept. Two hundred and some real terrorists are kept there in conditions that make our prisons look like medieval dungeons.
They are being treated much better than they would in their caves and home countries. They are provided Islamic-correct food, have exercise periods so they can get stronger to attack their guards and are allowed visitors from lawyers that can spread their call for death to infidels (Americans, Jews and all those not of the Islamic faith).
