The gun laws in Mexico are even more draconian in Mexico.  A United States citizen was sentenced to 12 years in a Mexican jail for having a single shotgun shell that had wedged itself under the carpeting in the man’s trunk after a season of duck hunting.  The shell was not seen when he cleaned out the trunk and was only discovered by Mexican border police when they searched his vehicle. My namesake, Fred (Thompson) is still one of my favorites.  It does not matter if he is acting or politicizing, I like his style.  It is really too bad that a video like this did not run during his campaign.  We might have had another conservative actor as President.  We all know how that turned out.

We definitely need all of the true conservatives to step up to the plate and call this bailout what it really is: a disastrous plan, not a disaster recovery plan.  There is a difference between those terms.  Liberals are seeing their chance to turn the United States into a third-world Marxist state by giving away our wealth and preventing us from tapping our own wealth and natural resources.  They may succeed if we do not stop them.

Write, call and fax your Senators and Representatives in Congress and let them know that Marxism and Socialism both suck!  AND do these often; make a pest of yourself.

Dear Dorothy,

We aren’t in Kansas anymore; or Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida, Kalifornia, or any other primary state. I know you have had some experience waking up in another realm of reality, but I fear your experiences were quite tame compared to the fight we are about to enter with ourselves.

Baring the publication of pictures of Obama or Hillary with various animals, or McCain using the “N” or “H” or “M” or “P” word, we are down to a choice between three candidates to run our country for the next 4 years. Staying home and not voting is not really a choice. Yes, you could do it and American soldiers from the Revolutionary War to the present time have given and are still giving their lives to support your choice to stay home. Wake up from your dream of utopia and the perfect world where everyone would be a Reagan Conservative; speaking of animals, there are too many RINO’s out there and it’s time to go hunting.

This video made me pray for the woman that is being interviewed.

Oprah Winfrey is refusing to have Sarah Palin, the first second woman nominated for Vice President, on her show anytime before the election.  In the past she invited Barack Obama on her show and she has also given thousands of dollars to his campaign.

She is willing to have Sarah on after the election, though.  It seems like Oprah, a liberal at heart, only supports liberals on her show during election season.  She nixed Clarence Thomas, a black Supreme Court Justice and prevented him from appearing, so maybe race doesn’t really trump womanhood.

In all probability, it’s Hollywood Liberalism vs. American Conservativism.  I bet if Condi Rice were running for President, Oprah would ignore her also.

I support Oprah in her decision not to have conservatives on her show.  After all, I support the entire Bill of Rights, and she has the freedom to do whatever on her show she sees fit.  Liberals, on the other hand, support freedom of speech only when it is theirs.  Obama will bring back the Fairness Doctrine and try to eliminate all conservative speech, including TV and the Internet.
