As I wrote in Part 1, this is the first time a Commander In Chief of our Armed Forces has not acknowledged the sacrifices made by our soldiers by skipping the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball!

I also know for a fact that this was not an oversight or a scheduling problem.  I have witnessed first-hand the behind-the-scenes movements of a President and know for a fact if the President wants to go from one place to another, even if it is unplanned or out of order in the schedule, he will get there.  Basically, the city is under his command.
