Chicago, Illinois, the home of Barack Obama and liberal gun banners, has always had a high murder rate by guns. Every time there are more shootings, they pass more restrictive gun laws until they outright banned them.

The Supreme Court recently heard the case against their ban and should decide shortly.

Now with the much-publicized school shootings, the US Department of Education is ordering 27 12-gauge shotguns with 14-inch barrels! If you are I had possessed this weapon, we would be doing a minimum of 10 years in the Federal Gray Bar Hotel! Our shotguns must have a barrel of at least 18 inches!

What does the Federal Department of Education have to do with Chicago? Just look at the delivery address:

U.S. Department of Education
Office of Inspector General
c/o: Gary Pawlak, Special Agent
500 West Madison Street – Suite 1414
Chicago, IL 60661

So I have to wonder: what is happening?

Are they going to arm D of ED people to spot-check Chicago’s schools to make sure the gang-bangers aren’t carrying guns to class?

Are they preparing for when the SCOTUS overturns the Chicago gun ban?

The only other thing I can think of is there has been talk of making all teachers vote publicly if they do not want their union dues supporting liberal candidates. Isn’t it illegal for the government to arm union thugs to keep the conservative teachers in line?

A while back Congress passed a bill of rights for airline passengers. At that time I called and let my congress people that this bill was a waste of their time. We cannot trust Congress with our Original Bill of Rights, so what made everyone think they would do better with one they wrote themselves?

First of all, air travel is not a “right”. It is a product you purchase. You put down your money for travel between point A and point B for a particular time.

You also know that due to unforeseen circumstances, that the flight may be late, a plane may be stuck on the runway for hours or the airport shut completely down due to a love-sick kid that had to kiss his girlfriend goodbye.

We live with these limitations and sometimes, if we complain to the right people, get compensated with free flights, etc.

The new “guidelines” take effect next month and there is already talk of airlines being fined horrendous amounts of money. For example, a full 757 airplane, if late, could be fined over $5,000,000.00! If the law was really for the travelers, this fine would be split up among the passengers to a tune of $27,500.00 each.

Government being what it is will opt to keep the money for its politicians to spend as the wish.

The airlines will just cancel all flights that are going to be late and the travelers get screwed. I for one would rather arrive late than not at all.

If this passes, we will see the ratings of its restaurants plummet quicker that Obama’s popularity in the last year.

It will be hard to find even a one-star eatery, let alone one with 5 stars.

Go to Philadelphia to eat for now. At le3ast their legislators are not foolish enough to mess with their Philly Cheesesteaks.

I mused over the great times spent with the Bush for President people during the 2000 campaign for over nine intensive months and the following 2004 campaign on a less-intensive basis.

I remember the afternoon and evening watching Florida’s poll numbers, seeing an upswing after we sent our some last-minute email blasts. And watching two TV’s – one with the Florida returns and the second looking at a rally in Texas, seeing some of our Tiger Team members in the light rain.

There is much more, probably I’ll write a book.

I did terrorize the Liberals out here in California with my widely recognized Lincoln Town Car affectionately known as the Bushmobile. There’s enough material on the Bushmobile encounters, including getting shot at, to write another book.

I share with you a picture of the Bushmobile.

I’m mad and I’m not going to take it anymore! Those GW people have finally become the proverbial straw that broke the junkie’s back.

No not those GW people, but these GW people: the Global Warming scientists. Three scientists (Mark Siddall, Thomas F. Stocker & Peter U. Clark) could be responsible for my losing millions of dollars.

No, I’m not yet ready to go and take flying lessons yet, but it could be getting close. The fact that I can’t find their office building in Bristol England on Google satellite views has nothing to do with this.

Let me tell you a story about how claims of Anthropogenic Global Warming may have cost me millions of dollars.

Over thirty years ago when I moved to California property values were not as high as they were five years ago. Let’s say, for values sake, I purchased a strip of land right on the beach for $200,000. In 1980, $200,000 bought a lot of sand!

Over the years, that strip of beach has increased in value to $4.6 million (as of 5 years ago).

I made sure (and everyone buying coastal property should do this) that the property is not on a cliff; erosion could cause that home you build there to come crashing into the sea. Once the sea eats your property, the California Coastal Commission will not let you reclaim even an inch of lost property.

Everything was going fine. I dreamed about retiring on the coast shooting skeet over the waves and harvesting the occasional migratory duck during hunting season. My lovable chocolate lab would run into the water, bring in the bird, and we would enjoy some duck by the roaring wood fire burning in the 8-foot fireplace.

Then last year (2009) the Terrible Three of AGW (anthropogenic global warming) issued a report that the sea would rise 82 centimeters by the year 2100. At first I thought that was around 3 inches, so I could build my retirement home on 3-inch stilts. I was thinking of that cigarette commercial that said it was a silly little somethingmeter longer.

Then I realized that was not the case as the conversion was really 32 inches! (Yes, I know it is really 32.28 inches, but for practical purposes and ease of understanding I rounded it down).

I didn’t believe they could possible be right, but not wanting to risk nearly $5 million on that bet (I wouldn’t risk $5 million on a bet the sky is usually blue or the grass is usually green) I dumped the property at a loss.

Now, I read that Mark, Tom and Pete have withdrawn that report because they were wrong!!! Since they reside in the United Kingdom, I can forget about filing suit against them to recover the loss.

Well, at least whoever bought land with a beach on the California coast won’t be able to build because the eco-terrorists have stopped all coastal construction. They won’t even be able to burn a bonfire on the beach, especially if it is a Spare The Air Day.

To plagiarize Shakespeare, “That is the question”. Oooo, maybe not plagiarizing, since I changed the BE to a DUMMY and game the old bard credit for the rest of the phrase.

Now, in the interest of being totally up front, I do not receive any royalties or fees of plays or books from anyone or organization related to Shakespeare or his works. I also do not have any ties to CNN. OK, you nearly caught me in a lie there, as I do have a tie to CNN: I distrust them as being balanced as a news organization.

Rush was only partially right when he called them the Clinton News Network; they should be renamed DNCNN (Democrat National Committee News Network). Also, I do not particularly like CNN’s anchor Anderson Cooper, I mean what is he trying to hide with two last names and no first name?

HOWEVER, that being said, I am coming to Mr. Anderson Cooper’s defense: the lawsuit against him should be dropped. This ridiculous lawsuit should be thrown out by the courts.

However, (again) the courts are so liberal that they are starting to think of CNN and their employees as conservatives, so the lawsuit will go to court.

Killian O’Brien should be a candidate, a candidate for the Darwin award, that is. For those of you how do not know what the Darwin award is, it is sort of like the Nobel Peace Prize for people whose genes should not be allowed to pollute our pond.

You see, Cooper (not to be confused with D. B. as he does not wear those dark aviator glasses) bought an old historic firehouse that housed the Fire Patrol, a private company that fought fires, and he hired an interior designer to use the building’s bones and accoutrements and turn it into a home he could live in.

Probably 99% of today’s firehouses have a pole that allows firefighters to slide from the second floor and hop on the truck for an extremely quick response to the call for help. 100% of firehouses had them back in 1906 when this one was built.

You can see where I am going. That’s right, dear Killian fell through the hole in the second floor. Like a good New York liberal who loves entitlements and slip & fall lawyers, she is suing both Cooper and the developer that sold him the house.

Dear New York Trial Judge,

Please throw this law suit out of court. Also, please fine her $1,000 for being stupid and warn her not to procreate.

Thank you,

Fred

I really want to try and defeat Barbara Boxer in 2010. She, along with my friend’s adorable Boxer are both full of $%@*. Please do not infer from this statement that I think Barbara “Ma’m” Boxer is adorable.

Chuck’s web site lists his position on issues, and I agree with them all, especially on the Constitutional issues (1st and 2nd Amendments) and his opposition to Boxer’s cap and trade scheme. That said, I have some reservation on his unstated position on Global Warming.

He has written a report that admits his belief in Global Warming. Here it is right from his site:

Chuck’s opinion pieces have appeared in the Investors’ Business Daily, Human Events, the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Daily News, the Asian Wall Street Journal, the Taipei Times, the Jamestown Review, the U.S. Army’s Red Thrust Star, and many others. In 2008, he authored a scholarly piece entitled, “Relative Risk: Global Warming and Imported Fossil Fuels vs. Nuclear Power,” for the UC Berkeley School of Law’s inaugural edition of Ecology Law Currents.

If you go to his report, you will find the following:

All energy comes with risks. Coal mining is a deadly occupation – burning coal emits thousands of tons of radioactive particles, damages the lungs of tens of thousands of people a year, and releases billions of tons of carbon dioxide. Natural gas presents somewhat less of a carbon problem than coal, but it is highly explosive.

First of all, coal burning electric power plants are not anything like what Chuck describes. We have very clean power plants in the United States. He states the “billions of tons of carbon dioxide” in the same sentence as “thousands of tons of radioactive particles”.

You burn any carbon-based fuel and you get radioactive particles. How do you think carbon dating works? For all of you out there that are thinking of being cremated, even your body will give off radioactive carbon particles.

You are living with those radioactive particles inside you with no ill effects, and mankind and animal-kind have been progressing just fine, thank you.

I wonder if Chuck has changed his mind on this in the nearly two year old report.

This inquiring mind wants to know.

Instead of making all of us take off our shoes (and maybe even underwear if the idiots in charge make useless regulations like they did with “Rich Da Shoebomber”) and hand searching granny, the TSA should do some intense profiling ala how the Israelis do. They have had a great record since they started.

The TSA and the former FAA/FBI/CIA air regulations have not prevented any air disasters.

We had many hijackings in the 1960’s. The hijackers brought their fully-automatic weapons aboard the planes by stashing them in the food service carts. What did our federal government do?

They prevented people from bringing loaded handguns aboard! If the feds had just made everyone aware that the airlines would welcome a few handguns on each flight, American citizens would have banded together and made sure all future flights would be safe.

The hijackings continued even though no guns were allowed past the boarding gate. The Hijackers just kept their weapons being carried aboard by the food and other service people. You see, hijackers and terrorists didn’t take our gun regulations seriously.

The hijackings eventually were stopped, but not be and gun regulations. World-wide, just about all countries agreed not to give in and pay the hijackers. A few hostages were killed by the hijackers, but no one gave in. When Hijackers couldn’t get their way easily, they decided to enter other occupations.

Since the planes were now target-rich environments, I was surprised that no one took advantage of it for years – until September 1, 2001. Then the results of not having armed citizens aboard were devastating.

Five airplanes loaded with a lot of souls and 4-5 terrorists took off and three of them crashed into buildings. One was taken over by passengers and forced to crash into a field in order to save lives. The fifth plane was diverted to Chicago before the terrorists decided to act and they walked away never to be seen again, even after box-cutters were found aboard the plane by cleaning crews..

Then on Christmas of 2009 the “Underwear Bomber” burned up his crotch in an attempt to blow a hole in the plane and bring it down. Again, brave citizens stopped him and restrained him until the plane could land.

Well, it has happened again! On January 23, 2010 a person tried to open the emergency door when the airplane was in the air. Did any TSA or Air Marshall people stop him? Nope! It was the good ol’ common folk!

Instead of taking away our nail clippers, the TSA should welcome all law-abiding citizens to carry firearms aboard. The hijackers would then turn to the trains, until the citizens took them back also.

The biggest snow storm is recorded history for this time of year is foretasted for the Washington DC area. If you own stock in Al Gore’s carbon credit company, I have some advice for you: SELL, SELL, SELL!

But there is much more behind the Storm of All Recorded History.

Maybe ol’ socialist Hugo has something to do with this storm; maybe to punish the United States for not giving billions of carbon tax dollars to his corrupt and broke government. You may ask if I have some source within his government.

The answer to that question is no. The proof is in the radar picture of the storm: doesn’t part of that storm look like South America? The blob to the right might be Australia, but they usually just try to affect our Second Amendment and not our position on Global Warming.

Maybe it’s God showing our legislators to abandon worshiping at the alter of global warming and return to the Gospel of Jesus Christ upon which our country was founded.

Just thinkin’….. Maybe there’s a sermon in there.

Halfway through the flight right after dinner, both the redhead and the hunk go through their carry on baggage and pull out syringe kits. They have been allowed to take these aboard since they have medic alert tags hanging from chains around their necks. In fact, you noticed the redhead’s red tag dangling between her endowments earlier.

They both get up and go to the bathrooms to administer their insulin. She takes two needles out and plunges one into each of her breasts. Mr. Hunk has pulled down his pants and jabs a needle into each of his bulging butt cheeks. Just about simultaneously, both the redhead and the hunk push down on the plungers.

You and your partner will be D-E-A-D as soon as the plane hits the ocean’s surface. The explosions from the bathrooms have just about blown the tail (of the airplane) off and cut through all the hydraulic and electric control cables.

You see, a month before this the redhead was in a operating room in Saudi Arabia getting special breast implants with PETN instead of saline solution in them. The hunk was in a hospital in Iran getting some butt cheek implants.

The “insulin” was a special liquid (I’ll not name it here) that will set off the explosive. In fact, the underwear bomber tried a similar thing as a proof-of-concept experiment on Christmas.

Thank God his underwear burned instead of exploding.

Do you think this is just some weird story from my warped mind? No, there are already terrorist plans for such attacks.

Calf and penile implants of PETN are also possible. Remember, these radical Islamic terrorists will stop at nothing to destroy us.

The only way to prevent this from happening with today’s technology is to x-ray everyone real carefully and ban all people from flying if they have implants of any kind.

It’s a shame air travel has come to this.
