What will work against a mob is a nice semiautomatic Bushmaster in .223 or larger caliber. Yes, I am talking about those EVIL, black firearms that the uninformed legislators like to call assault rifles.

My mind still sees that Korean shop keeper in the middle of a riot with stores burning all around him standing with such a firearm. Amazing the mob left his shop alone as well as the shops near his.

On top of this not a single member of the murderous mob was killed or even wounded by this firearm. Just the simple fact that a firearm was present made the mob go on to places where there were no firearms.

A semi-automatic shotgun with plenty of shells works also. Even a handgun can protect you.

States like Indiana, where people carry loaded firearms openly, do not have this problem. You see, people who break laws do not want to pick on armed victims.

This is one of the things the Second Amendment was created for.  Liberal/progressive cities and states and governments disarm or make it extremely hard for you to protect yourself.

Like the old saying goes, when seconds count, the police are just minutes away; that is if there are any police available to respond in your area.

Besides the Supreme Court has ruled that the police are not responsible and cannot be held accountable to protect you individually. The Supreme Court has also ruled that the Second Amendment is there to allow citizens to bear (carry) arms to protect themselves.

Remove everyone, no matter what political party they belong to, from office with your vote and elect people who believe in the Constitution of the United States above all.

Oakland, like just about every other major city in the United States is run by a liberal/progressive political machine. It is also in debt because the machine is spending more than it can steal from it’s citizens.

It would seem to me that they would first cut back or eliminate duplicate and non essential services. Common sense would tell you to keep essential services running, like schools, fire and police.

In their infinite liberal wisdom, Oakland is eliminating 10% of its police force!

In a city that laid claim at times to the top ten murder rates, that is the last thing you want to do. In fact, if economic times get much worse you will need more police.

A liberal city is always prone to riots, as anarchists and their ilk love to put on clothing of the poor and destroy store and shops that provide the poor with goods. Just look at the Rodney King and the more recent Oakland BART trial riots. You see many anarchist hoodlums with masks covering their cowardly faces. In fact, I believe more people who live outside of Oakland were arrested damaging private property than were locals.

Now, what makes a riot nasty is that it is often uncontrollable at the beginning. If you happen to live in the riot area, you stand a chance of being hurt or killed. You stand a greater chance of losing everything you have, like shelter and food, and of course your tv’s.

How do you protect yourself? Well, a police officer once told me to get a baseball bat and start swinging at the people who were attacking. That may work when you are faced with one or two unarmed crooks, but it will be useless against a mob. Yes, you may get a few of them, but they will overcome you and then, hope you have enough faith in Jesus and heart to get into heaven.

Private companies can limit and even prevent Internet access by their employees. I find no problem with that. Yes, everyone has freedom of association and ought to be able to access whatever web site they choose.

The TSA is a government organization that should have their computers secured against access and hacking. Since my tax dollars help pay for them, I would like to make sure that employee abuse of my tax dollars is kept to a minimum.

Besides, an organization dealing with super-secret things should not be connected to the Internet. They should be restricted to only what is needed for the TSA to function. That includes the removal of solitaire and hearts from their computers, and definitely no Mafia Wars on FaceBook!

The TSA started restricting sites that have “controversial content”. They are tight-lipped about what constitutes controversial; see what Clinton (Bill, not Hill) started when he said “That depends on what the meaning of “is” is”?

Now you may ask why I am concerned when the TSA has started restricting access to Internet sites that have “controversial opinion” as their content. That answer is simple.

A week or so ago, the White House decided they needed to be able to restrict access or even have a “kill switch” for the Internet inside of the United States.

The TSA is the start of a wide-scale restriction test. Once the proof of concept is shown to be effective, all it takes is for the government to give the word and all web sites that voice an opinion the ruling party does not like will disappear.

Imagine having this in place during the 2000 campaign. Gore could still be President-plenipotentiary.

It is no secret that the Taliban, al-Qaida and other radical Islamic sects are out to destroy Christianity. Just look at the news and you see Christians routinely killed by followers of Mohammad. “Convert or die.” is a common cry among his followers.

We are in a war in Afghanistan and Iraq only because radical Islamic people decided it was time to start killing Christians inside the United States as well as United States citizens and soldiers abroad.

These fanatical followers of Mohammad are practicing what Mohammad himself did. This led to the Christian Crusades which tried to wipe out the threat and nearly succeeded.

Attacks by Muslim extremists on the United States started years before September 11, 2001 and even well before the first World Trade Center bombing. We have had many attempts inside the United States since 9/11 and the American public only know of the ones that became public, like the recent New York City bombing attempt.

No one prevented this attack. The bomb simply failed to explode and for whatever reason it started smoking instead. A street vendor notified authorities when he saw the smoke.

If that particular bomb had been properly constructed, the authorities would have been sifting rubble for that street vendor’s remains as well as the remains of other United States citizens, visitors and illegal aliens.

The United States is a Republic that was founded on the beliefs and values of The Bible and specifically mentions the Creator (God) as the one who gave us inalienable rights that include, but are not limited to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness long before there were governments. It is because of this founding that the United States has historically fought injustice world-wide.

Many progressives (communists, Marxists and others) constantly accuse the United States of being Imperialistic, but their claims are not proven by the facts. The United States is not an occupier; we have overthrown tyrants like Saddam and his sons that took great pleasure in slowly lowering people into industrial plastic shredders just to hear them scream. We fought the Taliban that believe women who are not kept in their subservient place deserve to be stoned to death.

No other country, Christian or not, has freed 26 million Muslims from tyrannical, torturous governments. We also freed the Christians in those countries so they may worship more openly than they have before. Yes, the remaining radicals still kill Christians, but Christianity is now flourishing.

I would like to paraphrase Julia Ward Howe’s words: Jesus died to make men holy, let us die to make men Free, while God is marching on.

Let’s spread the word of Jesus and his Father, God our Creator.

Improper cell phone usage is on the rise. People who are supposed to be worshiping God are taking calls which are definitely not from Our Father in heaven.

People still are holding their cell phone with one hand and driving with the other hand. That reminds me of a bumper sticker: “Honk if you love Jesus. Text if you want to meet Him right away.”

I was on a flight and the person next to me was jabbering on the phone for three house straight until his battery went dead. Yes, cell phone do work in airplanes. No, they cannot cause the plane to crash or interfere with the flight attendants. September 11, 2001 busted that myth spread by the FAA.

The constant jabbering does cause interference with both the flight attendants and passengers alike.

Movie theaters hate these people and some theaters have even installed cell phone blockers.

You can see cell phone users at Wimbledon distracting the tennis players! You see them at hockey and football games.

Well, the Major league Baseball organizations have decided to fight this rude cell phone usage: They are requiring all players to triple the amount of time spent in batting practice and stressing accuracy of those hits.

When I first mentioned this to my friends, they thought I had finally leaped off the edge and joined all those conspiracy nuts. I finally have the proof.

This is not the case with Ms. Kagan.  The Rabbinical Alliance of America released a statement the Elena Kagan is not “Kosher”!

This group, consisting of over 850 Rabbis and clergy members, said the following:

“It is clear from Ms. Kagan’s record on issues such as abortion-on-demand, partial-birth-abortion, the radical homosexual and lesbian agenda, the “supremacy” of the anti-family panoply over religious liberties of biblical adherents, et. al., that she will function as a flame-throwing radical, hastening society’s already steep decline into Sodom and Gomorrah.”

“We feel that Elena Kagan turns traditional Judaism on its head – from a concept of a nation of priests and holy people, she is turning it into, ‘Let’s homosexualize every segment of society. And by the way, partial-birth babies have no right to be delivered.’”

Elena Kagan is the poster child of extremely liberal people of the Jewish faith – he same Jewish people that help elect President Carter, an unabashed Jew hater who sides with the Palestinian people that Israel should be pushed into the sea.

I agree in this point:  America will definitely be turned into Sodom and Gomorrah if Elena and another of her ilk is placed on the Supreme Court.

Those red telephones that sit in the Kremlin and the White House may be going the way of the dinosaur. Those red phones, put in place during the Cold War between Democracy and Communism, enabled instant communication between the the U.S. And the U.S.S.R. (now Russia and it’s states that broke free) in the event of a crisis.

They were joined with a trans-Atlantic cable, were regularly tested and had built-in redundancy.

President Obama made the announcement during the recent visit of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at the White House. Since both Presidents use Twitter, President Obama said “we may be able to finally throw away those red phones”.

Those phone cost several millions of dollars a year to keep operational, so eliminating those costs should help the Obama administration rein in the escalating costs of it’s free health care program.

Twitter accounts are free, so both countries can save money. Additionally, any computer can function as the “hotline” just as long as the president on each end remembers their account passwords.

I have information from a highly placed technical person that security for the accounts will consist of a smart-chip inside a pair of mice that are capable of reading the fingerprint of each President. This combined with the Twitter passwords will provide more than enough protection from hackers. The usernames will be 24 random characters long and changed on a daily basis. The mice will be in the briefcase that also carries the President’s Nuclear Launch Codes.

The mice, made by Microsoft, are housed in a bright blue shell that looks like a bird.

Instead of doing like other colonists did and just take over the land, Mr. Penn bought the land from the natives.  This makes Pennsylvania the first and possibly the only state freely sold by the Native Americans.  Penn named Philadelphia from the Greek philos “love” and adelphos “brother” and It has been referred to as the City of Brotherly Love even since.

It truly was the city of brotherly love as the city did not have the problems of being attacked by the Native Americans like many of the other colonies were.  That makes sense, as the land was purchased from the Native American tribes.

Today, the phrase “The City of Brotherly Love” is under attack.  An extremely small contingent of radical homosexual people managed to force the city through liberal activist judges to incorporate support city-wide for the homosexual lifestyle.

In a further attack, these homosexuals attacked the Boy Scouts of America and their facility in Philadelphia because the parent organization and the Boy Scout Code follow God’s laws.  Naturally, God’s laws treat men lying with men and men lying with animals as abominable.

The boy scouts have a permanent lease with the city of Philadelphia for $1 a year for the land on which their building is located.  This was deeded because of the great good the Boy Scouts organization accomplishes in that and other cities around the country.

They teach the scouts honesty, integrity and all of the commandments.  The children receive a healthy respect for our Creator.  And each troop accomplishes a thousand times the good as a government sponsored after school basketball game.  You become a scout and you lose all interest in the gangs.

The Boy Scouts of America built this building with their own funds and the homosexual activists tried to make the scouts abandon it.  I might add that the building is the only one supporting the entire city of Philadelphia!

The homosexuals lost the most recent court battle to destroy an organization that teaches righteousness.  The Boy Scouts of America won the court trial for now and their civil and constitutional rights were preserved.

Please keep the Scouts in your prayers that they may be protected from a decadent lifestyle choice.
