Now we are waiting for the back nine.
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. I saw the headline on Matt Drudge’s site this morning after I took the dogs for a short walk. Yes, they are smarter than I am since they wanted desperately to stay inside in the warm house with all that frost on the grass and windshields. Read more »

It is a shame that Tiger Woods is being publically skewered. He was wrong to cheat on his wife, but that should remain between him, his wife, the other woman and God. It is none of our business to know how he sins. Read more »

The Philadelphia Eagles trounced the New York Giants 40 to 17. McNabb threw three touchdown passes. Maybe Donovan should walk across the street and pitch! The Phillies do need the help.

The last two games of the series remind me of my childhood. I remember a movie when I was eight: Damn Yankees!
Put McNabb in! Oops! Wrong game.

There must be a conspiracy of the media. I’m talking about the radio media. It seems both the Liberal and Conservative radio stations have conspired to hide an important fact.
KSFO radio (they are main [IMHO] conservative radio station in the Belly of the Liberal Beast, San Francisco). They also carry the Oakland Raiders football games. Read more »

Ahhhh! The feeling of getting even; getting revenge; literally, the settling of scores. I know as a good Christian you should turn the other cheek. I know that vengeance is not for me to wish for. In Romans 12:19 (KJV) we find “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Read more »

In the past, I have hated all football teams from the Great State of Texas. I love everything in Texas, BBQ, Tex-Mex cuisine, Bush, the Alamo and the San Antonio River Walk where I got crabs and ribs at Dick’s Last Resort and watched the occasional tourist try to pick up a silver dollar that was nailed with a big spike into the concrete walkway…. But the football teams, NO! Read more »

If there was a law in New York for having a severe brain fart, Plaxico should have been given a ticket, paid a fine and been released. Unfortunately, there is no such law, or else the liberal politicians would have already bailed out New York State from its financial woes years ago. Read more »

John, a friend of mine, was saying the other day:
‘I am not sure I like the idea of Plaxico Burress becoming the “poster child” for gun rights because what he did was very irresponsible. He should have had the gun in a holster to be safe. But he is getting the shaft and he is a well known celebrity with a lot of people who maybe are not one side or the other on gun rights.’ Read more »

- This Had to Hurt!
Now on the football side of things, I am a loyal McNabb supporter. No, not that kind of supporter shown in the picture, but a real Philadelphia Eagles (and Phillies, 76′ers and Flyers) loyal fan type of supporter that roots for them irregardless of the choking at the end of a game of a season.. (Yes, I know irregardless is not a real word, but I enjoy irritating Liberals, and in the spirit of the soon-to-be-enacted Fairness Doctrine I am giving Conservative Teachers something to moan about. Remember the Liberal California Teachers Association supports creativity and teachable moments over real learning like Readin’, Ritin’ and ‘Rithmatic.) Read more »
