I wan to preface this with a statement that I am not against immigrants. In fact, immigration is what made the United States so great. In fact, my family cane over here in the 1800’s and played a part in continuing the to make this country better.
The secret to this was that everyone became Americans, learned the language and adopted the customs. Yes, they also kept the customs of their heritage, but America became a true “melting pot” where everyone added to the strength of the country. Read more »

The United States was founded upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the founders did not put a “separation” of church and state in the Bill of Rights. They just stated the God-given right to practice our religion. Read more »
I remember by school years quite well. I remember Mrs. Love, an art teacher that never gave up on me even though my stick figures were not recognizable as, well, stick figures. I remember detention hall for shooting spitballs.
I also remember Christmas Carols. No, not Frosty the Snowman or Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. I remember O Little Town of Bethlehem, Hark the Herald Angles Sing, O Holy Night, O Come All Ye Faithful and other Christmas songs that actually mentioned Jesus, the Christ, our Savior. Read more »

The attacker stood on a table and shouted “Allahu Akbar” just before he started murdering soldiers, some recently back from Iraq and Afghanistan and others ready to be deployed. Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who has been a Muslim all his life, was born in the United States. Did he just snap and go postal or is there a religious connection here? Read more »

The offered Trevor a button that said “United We Stand”, but he refused to remove the flag button that said “Under God”. You may defend Home Depot for its dress code, but this is clearly not just a dress code violation. Read more »
I remember the Barbie Doll Craze when I was growing up. My sisters had them and I thought they were crazy. Little did anyone know that if those original dolls were saved they would bring big bucks today as collector’s items.

An Associated Press article released from Atlanta Georgia on August 2nd, 2009 AD at 4:10:00 AM caught my attention. No, I was not up at 4:10 (but I did wake up at 4:30 and eventually have my coffee by 5:30) but I caught it later.
I have been telling fellow Christians for years that we need to stay vigilant and protect our religion.

I previously wrote about how the enemy combatants being held at Gitmo were going to get all the rights that American citizens get. “Oh no Fred! You are wrong! Our government would never do that. You are just war mongering and being an Islamophobe!”
I hate to be able to say “I told you so.”, because it would be another example of the destruction of our country, but it is true. Read more »
