Random Wanderings

A letter from a very dear friend of mine sparked a trip down memory lane. I mused over the great times spent with the Bush for President people during the 2000 campaign for over nine intensive months and the following 2004 campaign on a less-intensive basis. Read more »

In an address that is supposed to be about our country, President Obama mentions himself 132 times and the taxpayer twice!
‘Nuff said.
Scott Brown won the senate seat that previously belonged to Ted Kennedy. Yes, Ted, The Swimmer, Kennedy owned that seat, probably because his family bought it around half a century ago. So, with the passing of Uncle Ted, the seat now belongs to the people of Massachusetts once more. We hope he asked for true forgiveness and mercy and made his peace with God before he died. When the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Bill was first introduced, I said it would limit free speech and was violating the United States Constitution. By limiting spending in the last 30 to 60 days of an election, this bill prevented groups from presenting their views on issues. Read more »

In many areas of this still great country of ours, the Republicans In Name Only have started to join the progressives in the destruction of our values in government. Protestors
On October 5th, 2009, around 500 people (estimate by VfP themselves) protested in front of the White House. They emailed out an email stating “Voters for Peace joined a coalition of peace groups at the White House to protest the Afghanistan War, torture, and the military-dominated policy of the United States.” Read more »
New Your City has been a liberal enclave for years. Just like a liberal city, crime is up along with the level of gun control. Huge numbers of people on welfare who can be working sit on stoops waiting for the next check, totally devoid of self worth or ambition. Gangstas control the streets promoting their drugs and gambling while erasing their opponents with clouds of lead. However, there has always been one good thing about New York City: they love parades and pageantry. Read more »
Iran had previously stated its nuclear development was only for peaceful electricity production and now says it is for medical purposes. They may be telling the truth about the medical purposes.
Iran has claimed for years that he wants to push the disease it calls Israel into the ocean. Nuclear bombs could do that.
President Obama demanded Iran to stop its progress on another uranium enrichment plant. He did this on Friday at the G20 financial summit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Why he did not announce that in front of the entire United Nations?
If I were president, I would slip Israel a few ground-penetrating nukes and have them get rid of Iran’s enrichment plants.
There was a lot of hype and along with criticism before President Obama’s nationwide address to school children. Originally it was an attempt to leverage school children to write letters of support for Obama’s (and the Democrats) political agenda.
Although the liberals denied this was the case, suddenly the discussion plan was changed. It is amazing that the “non-existent” brainwashing was removed as soon as conservatives began to expose the plan. Read more »
