Private companies can limit and even prevent Internet access by their employees. I find no problem with that. Yes, everyone has freedom of association and ought to be able to access whatever web site they choose.

The TSA is a government organization that should have their computers secured against access and hacking. Since my tax dollars help pay for them, I would like to make sure that employee abuse of my tax dollars is kept to a minimum.

Besides, an organization dealing with super-secret things should not be connected to the Internet. They should be restricted to only what is needed for the TSA to function. That includes the removal of solitaire and hearts from their computers, and definitely no Mafia Wars on FaceBook!

The TSA started restricting sites that have “controversial content”. They are tight-lipped about what constitutes controversial; see what Clinton (Bill, not Hill) started when he said “That depends on what the meaning of “is” is”?

Now you may ask why I am concerned when the TSA has started restricting access to Internet sites that have “controversial opinion” as their content. That answer is simple.

A week or so ago, the White House decided they needed to be able to restrict access or even have a “kill switch” for the Internet inside of the United States.

The TSA is the start of a wide-scale restriction test. Once the proof of concept is shown to be effective, all it takes is for the government to give the word and all web sites that voice an opinion the ruling party does not like will disappear.

Imagine having this in place during the 2000 campaign. Gore could still be President-plenipotentiary.

Ever since the September 11, 2001 attack by Muslim extremists followed a week later by the anthrax attacks that killed five people, America has been on a heightened alert of anything out of the ordinary. Even ordinary happenings can paralyze us.

We have seen airports totally shut down because of someone’s “personal vibrator” in a suitcase. Another airport was shut down because of a garden hose nozzle in a paper bag.

Streets with their businesses have been barricaded while the police try and blow up someone’s lost knapsack of schoolbooks.

Some baby powder leaks from a person’s gym bag and we have a full-scale lock down with an Anthrax scare.

And now The Liberty Bell and surrounding streets has been held hostage to a balloon filled with flour!

In a way, the terrorists have succeeded in damaging us, as we are truly terrorized by fear of what could happen.

Some day, someone, maybe even a Radical Islamic Cell in the United States will get twenty people to simultaneously drop envelopes or baggies of flour throughout a city and totally shut it down for a day.

Imagine five or ten cities being paralyzed on the same day.

That’s why terrorists succeed – it is not the terrible act, but the terror we continually live with after the attack that does the long-term damage.

We clearly need to have an attitude adjustment and not overreact every time some kid loses their lunch or backpack or our very liberty is in jeopardy.

A letter from a very dear friend of mine sparked a trip down memory lane. I mused over the great times spent with the Bush for President people during the 2000 campaign for over nine intensive months and the following 2004 campaign on a less-intensive basis.

I remember the afternoon and evening watching Florida’s poll numbers, seeing an upswing after we sent our some last-minute email blasts. And watching two TV’s – one with the Florida returns and the second looking at a rally in Texas, seeing some of our Tiger Team members in the light rain.

There is much more, probably I’ll write a book.

I did terrorize the Liberals out here in California with my widely recognized Lincoln Town Car affectionately known as the Bushmobile. There’s enough material on the Bushmobile encounters, including getting shot at, to write another book.

I share with you a picture of the Bushmobile.

In many areas of this still great country of ours, the Republicans In Name Only have started to join the progressives in the destruction of our values in government. With our nearly last breath of freedom (remember plans for stifling and completely eliminating conservative talk radio and the fight against our religious beliefs with the passage of laws that can convict one of their God-given right of free speech and religious practice.) conservative people are finally standing up for themselves.

With the threat of government repression of our freedoms, conservatives have peacefully questioned their elected representatives (of both parties) in public and have successfully slowed down and even killed bad legislation; all without violence. Compare that to the demonstrators against conservatives where they have physically attacked people who merely voiced a different opinion.

Tea Parties against higher taxes and against the suppression of entrepreneurism sprung up all over – a true grass roots phenomenon. Now the grass roots are striking out against all repressors of liberty regardless of their stated party affiliations.

Look at Dierdre Scozzafava, a Rebublican in the New York 23rd Congressional District resigned from the race just a week before the election. It was a shame that the Republican National Party poured a LOT of money in support of her. Dierdre released her supporters to support whatever candidate they wished.

You see, Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman was well above her in the polls. This is a race to watch as Hoffman and the Democratic nominee Bill Owens is real close. Imagine, a Republican losing to a Conservative party member.

I gar-un-teeeee you this will happen all over as conservatives revolt at the ballot box.

Yes, even the unborn child is, in fact, alive, and practitioners of Marx indeed go after religious freedom first, especially if it is Christianity and Judaism. Thousands of years of history show that Jews and Christians alike are easily slaughtered after they are first disarmed, so Marx dictates (I like that choice of word) that the populace to be controlled have all their forms of self-defense removed.

His retort:

The answer is part rural heritage, and part a deep inbred distrust of the federal government, especially a liberal led government.

Look at the choice of words. The use of “inbred” is demeaning, as though we have diminished mental capacity like portrayed in Deliverance. The term “rural heritage” is accosted and debased as though being raised in the country is bad. Actually, being raised in the country tends to make one more self-sufficient and responsible.

Being raised in an urban or inner-city environment, especially in a liberal-run metropolis tends to imprint a lack of personal accountability and a reliance on government provided sustenance. Deadly crime in liberal cities has always been higher than the nation-wide average since the deprivation of Second Amendment rights leads to defenseless citizenry.

As to the reference tying Republicans to guns is ridiculous. Liberals often confuse the Republican political party with conservatism. I know of some Republicans (although I consider them RINOs) who want to ban guns. Every conservative I know does believe in the Second Amendment, but belief in all of the Constitution of the United States.

I know many people who describe themselves as liberals and they own plenty of guns and ammunition. Yes, even the big, bad, cold, hard, black ones.

What is bred in American Citizens is a distrust of big government.

America was founded by believers of the Gospel of Jesus due to an oppressive government. The Boston Tea Party was the start of the Creation of the United States. Yes, there is a well deserved distrust of oppressive government, especially a liberal (i.e. progressive, Communist, Marxist) led government.

William got that part right and I am proud to be one of those patriotic Americans that cling to their Bibles and guns. Obama’s slur against his subjects can be worn as a badge of courage.

Interestingly enough, according to the FBI, crime is down! In interviews with hardened criminals and murderers, most of them said their “jobs” were much tougher in areas where large numbers of law-abiding citizens owned firearms for protection.

Criminals solve this by moving their crimes to areas where the state and local governments restricts firearm ownership. In other words, target-rich environments attract criminals. I am amazed that most liberals do not understand this basic fact.

A pre-election poll showed 63% of all voters believed Obama would increase firearms restrictions. By all indications from the Czars and the likes of House Madam Pelosi and Senator Feinstein this is on its way to becoming true.

After all of his statistics (my dad used to tell me all the time about the use of statistics “figures can lie and liars figure”) he comes up with this ending:

So what is it about the cold hard steel of firearms that holds such hypnotic sway among so many devout Christian soldiers?

Like a good “progressive”, William is making fun of Christianity with this reference and the previous poke at the Christian belief in the sanctity of life (tied to Republicans of all things) and since his last name is not overtly a Muslim name, I would assume he is a non-believer. I’ll add him to my prayers this evening that God makes Himself known to William and shows him how Jesus can give him eternal life.

It is interesting that liberals tend to group Christianity, guns and moral values together. I wonder why a lot of liberals tend to not openly profess morals and beliefs in Jesus. It sort of makes sense that since the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness are the first things thrown out the window since they all are God-given rights.

The picture also plays on the fear mongering liberals like to employ about those “big bad black” guns, as the gun is black and is photographed against a black background. I dabble in photography and the photographer did a great job of lighting.

Before any liberal tries to say this is an assault rifle, I can assure you it is only an assault rifle in California’s warped sense of law (along with a few other liberal institutions that would love to ban all firearms.

He states:

75% of the Americans polled stated positively that the Constitution guarantees their right to own a gun. The disparity between Conservatives and Liberals is evident with 92% of the Republicans answering “yes,” 64% of the Democrats, and 71% of “others” believing that as Americans the Constitution protects their right to bear arms.

Well, it looks like that even more than 2/3 of self-described liberals believe in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, as our God-given right to self defense as enumerated in the Constitution of the United States!

Another poll on the increase of gun and ammunition sales as Obama’s popularity in the polls grew before the election is quoted as 57% of the people believed it was the fear of more government control that was causing the surge in purchases. Also 23% said it was because of fear of crime.

The real story here is that 80% of the people feared if Obama won the election there would be more government control and/or more crime. Well, Obama has confirmed half of that fear.

Look at all the banks the liberal Obama administration has nationalized; car companies were taken under government control with the start of Government Motors; Nationalized health care is now being pushed. This is a textbook case of Marxism. Bill Ayers is definitely proud of President Obama. Most of Obama’s Cabinet and his Czars are strident gun-banners with long track records of usurping our constitutional rights.

I came across a blog entry that attempts to use statistics to spread lies about the personal beliefs of defenders of the Second Amendment. Entitled “Do Republicans love their guns more than they love liberal Americans?” the blog entry is an attempt like no other I have seen to group gun owners and Republicans together and pit their morality into an accusation of hypocrisy and hatred of the liberals.

Naturally this was written by a liberal writer. He is William Skordelis and writes for examiner.com as a National Liberal Issues Examiner. He’s got two left hands, two left feet, and always thinks with the left side of his brain.

I can hear you already accusing me of picking on an unprotected liberal, but I assure you that they are not in season at this time. In fact, that is how he describes himself!

Let’s see, where can I start? There are so many areas of deceit that I may turn this into a series; there is a lot of fodder here.

He starts out be citing several Rasmussen polls and combining them in an amusing manner to make his progressive point. He does post a picture he found on flickr of a woman aiming a nice tricked-out AR. It is captioned “Guns. Better than sex?”

Well, if you have ever shot a firearm really well, it is one of the more exciting sports that is the most pleasurable you can have with your clothes still on.

The applied usage of this in an anti-gun article definitely takes a swipe of gun owners sexual proclivity and attempts to exploit that Freudian misconception that people who genuinely appreciate firearms do so due to a lack of sexual prowess. I can assure you from personal experience that there is not a shred of truth in this. The later reference to “cold hard steel” could even possibly be a Freudian slip by Mr. Skordelis; erupting feelings of inadequacy?

Ok conservatives, we have a long road ahead of us. I have published this hit list. Grab your Bibles and checkbooks tight and let’s knock down these people before Obama taxes us so much we cannot raise money any more and Christianity is outlawed because it “offends” atheists and practitioners of the religion of peace.

Until the government takes away our right to vote, keep the guns locked up tight; this is a job for grassroots activism and financial support as long as we can vote.

Unite to protect our freedoms and pray to God that we can save America. We have a short time to accomplish this.

Here is the game plan. We need to peacefully attack these people every time they make a public appearance. Let the public know what traitors they are. Meet them in town halls and on the blogs.

Then we need to oppose them in the primary elections. Volunteer to walk the precincts for whoever runs against them. Volunteer for phone banks and remember, with the free domestic long distance that is available today, you do not even have to be in the state that they are running in.

Finally, contribute whatever you can to push these turncoats out of office.

Here are the Nefarious Nine that voted for Sonia Sotomayor:

Sen. George Voinovich, Ohio

Susan Collins, Maine

Olympia Snowe, Maine

Judd Gregg, New Hampshire

Richard Lugar, Indiana

Kit Bond, Missouri

Mel Martinez, Florida

Lindsey Graham, South Carolina

Lamar Alexander, Tennessee

What do I do to celebrate?

Explosives and real rockets are out. Even though I was shooting BIG weapons since I was a toddler (click here to see the proof of me at the controls of a BIG gun on a battleship), I have a supply problem with getting RPG’s and other HE (high explosive) rounds; those liberal reports that Mexican drug criminals get their weapons from gun shows is just not true! I cannot even get magazines with more than 10 rounds here in California, let alone grenades.

Aha! I decided to assert my God-given rights. The First Amendment was first and I prayed for our continued freedom despite our government taking away more and more of our rights. Then I wrote a nice Independence Day tribute for FredHoot.com. After that, I wrote few blog entries for Liberal Fair and harassed some liberals.

For the Second Amendment, I went to the reservoir, found a heavily wooded area with my GPS unit and dug up a couple of packages of ammo (just kidding for now, but with the increasing shortage of ammunition and primers in addition to the government restricting the availability of ammunition, all gun owners may be doing this), and then took a friend to the gun range.

Placing a few hundred rounds in the center-of-mass of a silhouette target is my definition of gun control. Being able to do it whenever I wish and having a firearm at the ready to stop a criminal from taking away my life or liberty is my definition of our God-given Freedom.

Now I have to work on the rest of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights.
