This is about the most ridiculous and stupid thing I have ever heard of in the fight to reduce “Global Warming”. Despite the face that there has been global cooling in the last ten years and the phrase “Climate Change” now replaced Global warming, which replaced Global Colling of the 1960’s, countries are still duped into fighting man-made carbon dioxide emissions. Besides, Carbon dioxide levels have recently been proven not to be related to Global Warming.

Well, back to the most stupidest dog trick that Japan is trying to sell to it’s subjects.

The Japanese government is asking everyone to go to bed an hour earlier and wake up an hour earlier to save electricity that will reduce the carbon footprint of Japan. They have a really big flaw in their thinking.

People go to bed when they are tired. When people go to bed early and are not tired, other things happen.

Take married people for example. The kids get put to bed an hour earlier and eventually go to sleep from crying that they aren’t tired. The parents go to bed an hour earlier and are not tired, but realize they now have some alone time.

Much later, after some adult activity, the parents are now asleep. Did they reduce their carbon footprint?

The answer is NO!

Remember everything that breathes on this planet (and I realize some of those enviro-nuts are from a different planet or universe) inhales oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. After all, the life on this planet is carbon-based.

The married couple (and unfortunately all the unmarried couples) now exhale more than eight times the carbon dioxide creating the two-backed monster than they would have just keeping the light on and reading.

Oh well, just look for a surge in population in Japan nine months from now. That extra population will exhale a lot more carbon dioxide.

He even refused to answer is he will make money if cap and trade gets enacted.

No not those GW people, but these GW people: the Global Warming scientists.  Three scientists (Mark Siddall, Thomas F. Stocker & Peter U. Clark) could be responsible for my losing millions of dollars.

No, I’m not yet ready to go and take flying lessons yet, but it could be getting close.  The fact that I can’t find their office building in Bristol England on Google satellite views has nothing to do with this.

Let me tell you a story about how claims of Anthropogenic Global Warming may have cost me millions of dollars.

Over thirty years ago when I moved to California property values were not as high as they were five years ago.  Let’s say, for values sake, I purchased a strip of land right on the beach for $200,000.  In 1980, $200,000 bought a lot of sand!

Over the years, that strip of beach has increased in value to $4.6 million (as of 5 years ago).

I made sure (and everyone buying coastal property should do this) that the property is not on a cliff; erosion could cause that home you build there to come crashing into the sea.  Once the sea eats your property, the California Coastal Commission will not let you reclaim even an inch of lost property.

Everything was going fine.  I dreamed about retiring on the coast shooting skeet over the waves and harvesting the occasional migratory duck during hunting season.  My lovable chocolate lab would run into the water, bring in the bird, and we would enjoy some duck by the roaring wood fire burning in the 8-foot fireplace.

Then last year (2009) the Terrible Three of AGW (anthropogenic global warming) issued a report that the sea would rise 82 centimeters by the year 2100.  At first I thought that was around 3 inches, so I could build my retirement home on 3-inch stilts.  I was thinking of that cigarette commercial that said it was a silly little somethingmeter longer.

Then I realized that was not the case as the conversion was really 32 inches!  (Yes, I know it is really 32.28 inches, but for practical purposes and ease of understanding I rounded it down).

I didn’t believe they could possible be right, but not wanting to risk nearly $5 million on that bet (I wouldn’t risk $5 million on a bet the sky is usually blue or the grass is usually green) I dumped the property at a loss.

Now, I read that Mark, Tom and Pete have withdrawn that report because they were wrong!!!  Since they reside in the United Kingdom, I can forget about filing suit against them to recover the loss.

Well, at least whoever bought land with a beach on the California coast won’t be able to build because the eco-terrorists have stopped all coastal construction.  They won’t even be able to burn a bonfire on the beach, especially if it is a Spare The Air Day.

Chuck’s web site lists his position on issues, and I agree with them all, especially on the Constitutional issues (1^st and 2^nd Amendments) and his opposition to Boxer’s cap and trade scheme.  That said, I have some reservation on his unstated position on Global Warming.

He has written a report that admits his belief in Global Warming.  Here it is right from his site:

If you go to his report, you will find the following:

All energy comes with risks. Coal mining is a deadly occupation – burning coal emits thousands of tons of radioactive particles, damages the lungs of tens of thousands of people a year, and releases billions of tons of carbon dioxide. Natural gas presents somewhat less of a carbon problem than coal, but it is highly explosive.

First of all, coal burning electric power plants are not anything like what Chuck describes.  We have very clean power plants in the United States.  He states the “billions of tons of carbon dioxide” in the same sentence as “thousands of tons of radioactive particles”.

You burn any carbon-based fuel and you get radioactive particles.  How do you think carbon dating works?  For all of you out there that are thinking of being cremated, even your body will give off radioactive carbon particles.

You are living with those radioactive particles inside you with no ill effects, and mankind and animal-kind have been progressing just fine, thank you.

I wonder if Chuck has changed his mind on this in the nearly two year old report.

This inquiring mind wants to know.

The biggest snow storm is recorded history for this time of year is foretasted for the Washington DC area. If you own stock in Al Gore’s carbon credit company, I have some advice for you: SELL, SELL, SELL!

But there is much more behind the Storm of All Recorded History.

Maybe ol’ socialist Hugo has something to do with this storm; maybe to punish the United States for not giving billions of carbon tax dollars to his corrupt and broke government. You may ask if I have some source within his government.

The answer to that question is no. The proof is in the radar picture of the storm: doesn’t part of that storm look like South America? The blob to the right might be Australia, but they usually just try to affect our Second Amendment and not our position on Global Warming.

Maybe it’s God showing our legislators to abandon worshiping at the alter of global warming and return to the Gospel of Jesus Christ upon which our country was founded.

Just thinkin’….. Maybe there’s a sermon in there.

President Hugo Chavez Frias was greeted with cheers in Copenhagen when he stood up and accused the United States of not doing enough to combat global warming. He further berated America and received a standing ovation.

Just to make sure everyone in Venezuela is in keeping with Chavez’s beliefs, his government issued new regulations on New Year’s Eve. It seems that Venezuela is using power beyond what their hydroelectric system can produce. Instead of building more dams or oil and gas power stations, Chavez is opting for rationing.

Businesses can now only use electricity from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Any time outside of that they must either shut down of operate on generators that the businesses must buy themselves.

If anyone breaks this decree, they will get a 20% surcharge on their bill. They could also have 24-hour periods where their electricity is shut off. Businesses that continually break this decree would be shut down for a 72-hour period in order to persuade them to use less electricity.

Hmmmmm… That certainly does no good for air pollution, let alone the carbon emissions those generators will emit. Also imaging the noise if everyone has their own generator.

Imagine what this will do to movie houses. Imagine what it will do to data centers and Internet providers. Well, to a a socialist dictator this would be another way of curtailing free speech.

Viva socialism, Mr. Chavez!

The flower power children in the 1960’s were part of the “Peace, not War” movement sponsored by the Communist Party USA and the Communist Party in the USSR (now Russia). Out of this sprung the idea that it was easier to destroy the United States from within rather then through war, as the United States military always wins the wars. (Lyndon Johnson set us on a path to defeat with limiting the Vietnam war rather than just going in, actually winning the war victoriously, freeing the people from Communism and then set up them for self sufficiency.)

This inside attack focused on the environment. No one (even conservatives, unlike the liberal spin) wants dirty air and polluted water, so the environmental movement started on Global Cooling as the main weapon.

These “environmentalists”, and I use the term very loosely, claimed the Earth was cooling and we would have a full-blown Ice Age by 2000. The perceived cause was mankind. You see, with all the wood burning stoves in America, the soot particles were in the air and blocking some of the sun’s heat. An anti-wood-burning-stove movement started and some local laws were passed in some very liberal towns.

Then the environmental idiots claimed “chemicals” were “evil” and were causing bird eggs to become thin and subject to breakage. Since we could not survive with thin bird eggs, DDT was outlawed due to Rachel Carson writing and promoting the book Silent Spring in 1962.

She should be held, tried and sentenced for being the worlds most prolific mass murderer and genocidal maniac. Millions of African children today are still dying from Malaria due to the world-wide ban on DDT which was effectively used to kill the disease-spreading mosquitoes. No other chemical today has been found to efficiently kill these bugs.

The environmentalists still have control over this ban today, so the genocide continues, even though the thin egg shells were since proven to be caused by changes in diet of the birds.

Next came population control, as the environmentalists claimed people were destroying the earth and we needed to control the population before we ran out of space. This was pure bunk, but many laws were enacted to persuade people from having children. The widespread availability of abortion and Roe vs. Wade helped.

Just for grins, take all the people in the world and stand them right next to each other, front to back and side to side. They would all fit in an area the size of Jacksonville, Florida. Even better yet, divide up the world’s population and group them into 4-member families. Then give them all homes. If these homes were placed side to side and front to back, they would all fit into the state of Texas. Add roads, stores and schools and they would all fit into the States of California, Texas, Oregon and Washington.

We are not running out of space; just look out the window of a jet as you fly from coast to coast across the Fruited Plains of America. Better do it before too long, as the environmentalists will have outlawed airplanes for the common folk.

The environmentalists tried (and are still trying after all these years) to stop us from using up all the worlds oil and other resources such as natural gas, iron, wood and food. Amazingly, we still have not used up the oil. We were supposed to have run out in the 1980’s. Still we cannot drill off our coasts, but China is drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

The environmentalists Are currently still trying to sell the Global Warming Hoax. Al Gore wishes to sell it as he owns a carbon trading company. He even buys carbon credits from himself to “offset” his extensive jet travel spreading his manure all over the world. England sued him and now requires a disclaimer to be presented to school kids if they are shown his movie.

If the world pressures the environmentalists to give up the nonsensical Global Warming and Climate Change bull, they will find another cause to try and turn the United States into a 3^rd of 4^th world country. They would like us living in mud huts again cooking vegetables over manure fires.

Watch and see.

The Copenhagen Global Warming summit should have been held in Amsterdam. Amsterdam was warmer and the attendees could have smoked their pot, hash and whatever else they were smoking legally. Yes, it seems like they were partaking of some type of mind-altering substance with all of the goings-on.

It was really, really, really COLD! There were all-time record low temperatures which somehow didn’t diminish the support for needing to do something to “fix” Global Warming. The prostitutes in Copenhagen did what they could to to keep the attendees warm by offering their services for free.

I do have a question: Did the Danish government reimburse the call girls/guys? I would bet someone did in true socialist fashion.

Now back to the smoking part. Chavez, that tin-pot dictator of a thug in Venezuela gave a rip-roaring speech that lambasted the capitalist nations of the world. He received a standing ovation for his diatribe amid a raucous cheers from all the other socialist thugs and despots.

Many more useful idiots gave speeches saying the United states should cut it’s CO2 (which is really fertilizer and also emitted in huge quantities from the speech givers during their rants) to unobtainable levels possible only to remotely approach if the US goes bankrupt. Countries like India and China were naturally exempt.

Even a traitor from the United States promised that the United States would drop emissions by unreasonable amounts which just happened to be the same figures from a cap and tax bill in our congress right now. The President of the United States does not have the power legally in our Constitution to do such a thing. Barack Hussein Obama just did.

“Emerging” 3^rd world nations then expected the United states to also help them to reduce their CO2 emissions.

Now, here is the really interesting part: All the thugs who called capitalism evil, started lining up to demand their entitlement from the profits of the same capitalist countries they were putting down. These non-capitalist pigs lined up at the generous trough of the United States.

They should just create their own capitalism and then they would have more than enough money. Their people would be financially free and the thugs would have money, but that is not what they want. They want CONTROL over their subjects.

These thug nations are missing just one thing. If they destroy the economy of the United States, the pig trough will dry up.

With all those greenhouse gasses heating up Mother Earth, we should be sweating all year long by now.  Yes, “Houston, we have a problem!”  Snow and icy roads are threatening to shut down the city.

Temperatures are plummeting and there will probably be a lot of accidents with all the snow and sleet icing up the roads.  This year, December 4^th sets the record for the earliest snow fall in Houston’s history.

We need to melt the icr from the roads.  Where is the warming when we need it?
