When it came to ratings, Air America did not attract hardly anyone. Many checks from people such as George Soros and other Marxists were poured into keeping Air America alive.

The Fairness Doctrine was overturned years ago to give radio and TV stations the capability to let the market control their programming. For the most part, radio stations did extremely well.
There were a lot of people out there that liked Country Western music and they drove advertisers to invest in the popular stations. Needless to say, the advertisers made a lot of money selling their advertised products. Read more »
