The TSA definitely needs to screen its employees at least half as well as they molest the passengers. They need to expose the perverts, and people who get their kicks from being aroused by seeing naked bodies of either the opposite or the same sex.
All the while I’m going through this humiliation, a person who had the demeanor and looks of one of those terrorists that boarded our airplanes on September 11, 2001, walked through the scanner without pausing or holding the hands above his head.
Subjecting grandmothers and grandfathers to embarrassing virtual strip searches, followed by hands on molestation has got to stop. And don’t give me that bunk about “home-grown” terrorists; they can be picked out just as easily as the radical Muslims can by profiling.
You profile by eye movements, body language, other observations when asking a few innocent questions like where you’re going or the business or pleasure question, and of course, physical looks. Yes, a middle-eastern person from Saudi Arabia or countries of the same ilk who has recently shaved spells T R O U B L E!
We need to start a grass-roots movement to get rid of all the electronic garbage and do exactly what El Al Air does. They have not had a single terrorist board their airplanes and blow it up or try to light their shoes or underwear. And they don’t make you take off your belt and shoes either.
Write your congress people and the TSA and tell everyone what a rotten job they are doing at the airports.
By the way, my return flight from Philadelphia elicited no such molestation from the TSA agents even with the addition of an 18-inch genuine Philadelphia hoagie. Although the friendly gentleman that helped me check in remarked that it smelled read delicious!
Philadelphia showed it is truly the city of brotherly love – the agape kind.
San Jose joins San Francisco as a different kind of brotherly love, which I can do without being subjected to.
