One Again The TSA Did Not Save A Threatened Airplane

Time and time again, we have been presented with an airplane in danger and the TSA and their air marshal program was as useless as Breasts on a Bull, and that is putting it mildly. They completely blew it.

Instead of making all of us take off our shoes (and maybe even underwear if the idiots in charge make useless regulations like they did with “Rich Da Shoebomber”) and hand searching granny, the TSA should do some intense profiling ala how the Israelis do. They have had a great record since they started.

The TSA and the former FAA/FBI/CIA air regulations have not prevented any air disasters.

We had many hijackings in the 1960’s. The hijackers brought their fully-automatic weapons aboard the planes by stashing them in the food service carts. What did our federal government do?

They prevented people from bringing loaded handguns aboard! If the feds had just made everyone aware that the airlines would welcome a few handguns on each flight, American citizens would have banded together and made sure all future flights would be safe.

The hijackings continued even though no guns were allowed past the boarding gate. The Hijackers just kept their weapons being carried aboard by the food and other service people. You see, hijackers and terrorists didn’t take our gun regulations seriously.

The hijackings eventually were stopped, but not be and gun regulations. World-wide, just about all countries agreed not to give in and pay the hijackers. A few hostages were killed by the hijackers, but no one gave in. When Hijackers couldn’t get their way easily, they decided to enter other occupations.

Since the planes were now target-rich environments, I was surprised that no one took advantage of it for years – until September 1, 2001. Then the results of not having armed citizens aboard were devastating.

Five airplanes loaded with a lot of souls and 4-5 terrorists took off and three of them crashed into buildings. One was taken over by passengers and forced to crash into a field in order to save lives. The fifth plane was diverted to Chicago before the terrorists decided to act and they walked away never to be seen again, even after box-cutters were found aboard the plane by cleaning crews..

Then on Christmas of 2009 the “Underwear Bomber” burned up his crotch in an attempt to blow a hole in the plane and bring it down. Again, brave citizens stopped him and restrained him until the plane could land.

Well, it has happened again! On January 23, 2010 a person tried to open the emergency door when the airplane was in the air. Did any TSA or Air Marshall people stop him? Nope! It was the good ol’ common folk!

Instead of taking away our nail clippers, the TSA should welcome all law-abiding citizens to carry firearms aboard. The hijackers would then turn to the trains, until the citizens took them back also.

John Byrnes says :

Last Tuesday, Directors of the CIA, FBI and National Intelligence declared that an attack by Al Qaeda in the next 3 to 6 months “is certain!” Leon Panetta, CIA Director announced, “The biggest threat is not so much that we face an attack like 9/11. It is that Al Qaeda is adapting its methods in ways that oftentimes make it difficult to detect.”
Panetta’s statement does not take into account the ability to identify any terrorist whose goal it is to give up their life for a cause. Only when you are observing measurable emerging aggression can you identify a terrorist before they effect their violence.

The Center for Aggression Management discovered 15 years ago that there were two kinds of aggression: adrenaline-driven Primal Aggression and intent-driven Cognitive Aggression. The Primal Aggressor, in the extreme, is “red-faced and ready to explode,” the Cognitive Aggressor (the terrorist) is not. When a person, regardless of the culture, gender, education or position, rises to the level where their goal is to give up their life for a cause, their body looses animation and we see the “thousand-yard stare.” But it is more than this, the whole body and behavior looses animation and this is how we can identify them. The problem is that security and law enforcement are still looking for the Primal Aggressor (red-faced and ready to explode). Of course they are finding it difficult to detect these terrorist; a terrorist is a Cognitive Aggression; they are looking for the wrong person!
As our Government analyzes what went wrong regarding Abdulmatallab’s entrance into the United States, you can be assured that Al Qaeda is also analyzing how their plans went wrong. Who do you think will figure it out first . . . ?
