Friday, June 6th, 2009 is an historic day in the history of the United States. This day will be written in history as the start of the destruction of capitalism in the United States. On top of this the House of Representatives run by Madam I-worked-hard-for-this-title Pelosi voted to create Carbon Trading Billionaires sponsored by the plebian tax payers.
Even worse a 300 page addition was added at 3 AM in the morning to the 1,100-plus page bill. No one has read the complete bill and I doubt any of the reps who voted for it even care about understanding it. They just care about letting Marxism kill our rights.
They have created a commodity literally out of thin air. The cap-and-tax carbon credits scheme is criminal. In fact, if a private individual started brokering carbon credits, they would be thrown in prison faster than the financial guys that robbed investors of their money.
The government will set the price and industries will have to pay through the nose. Naturally, companies will either pass the cost on to the consumer or move their businesses to India, China and Mexico where they do not pay any attention to pollution, let alone the mythical carbon dioxide monster.
Even Obama himself admits energy bills will double. Some money, although it’s a pittance, will be deposited on a monthly schedule directly into the checking accounts of everyone making less than $30,000.
Hmmm…. I can see our welfare rolls swelling with all the illegal immigrants and people who figure the welfare with a monthly bonus from the cap and tax program will suit them just fine. They can sit, watch TV all day, get fat and wind up costing the taxpayers a whole slew of additional money with the medical problems caused by being overweight.
Does anyone want to join me in founding a carbon credit brokerage house?
