Radical Islamic Terrorist Plot Foiled By FBI – Part 2

I can say it now, because it will not endanger sources or methods at the FBI, but I know from personal dealings with the FBI that the local field offices involved in high tech investigations in 2000 and early 2001 did not even have the capability to open up FoxPro databases for analysis.  In fact, I offered to give them a brand-new shrink-wrapped FoxPro software package and they said that they could not even accept the gift as they were prevented by law from accepting it!

I had to convert it to text format for them.  Luckily, they now have capability to open up any database format thanks to President George W. Bush.

Sound incredible?  You bet it does, but you have to remember that during Clinton’s rein (Bill, not Hill) our military and intelligence agencies (CIA, FBI, NSA and a few others) received cuts in funding that just about decimated our ability to detect and respond to terrorist threats.  In addition to cuts in funding for better tools, inter-agency data sharing was prevented, supposedly to protect the “rights” of terrorists plotting against the American people.

The attacks on September 11, 2001 were such an example.  The FBI knew the names of some of the radical Islamic 9/11 hijackers due to reports of them taking flying lessons and not caring about taking off or landing.  If I were taking flying lessons, I would definitely want to at least land the plane first.  Stopping a plane by flying it into a building is not healthy for the pilot.  Of course, these guys were just worried about their virgins.

When George W. Bush became President, he made sure the funding to the military and intelligence agencies was restored, although it took a while before all the necessary tools were in place to detect and stop terrorist plots inside the United States.

New York City should get down on their liberal knees and thank God that “W.” was able to provide the tools that foiled this latest terrorist plot against NYC.  Of course, The American Communist Lawyers Union would file an injunction against prayer in the city.

Speaking of the ACLU, there are rumors of the Obama administration thinking about reinstituting the “wall” between the FBI and the CIA at the request of the ACLU.  Let us pray that President Obama prevents this particular wall from being built again.
