Eddie Van Tassel caused a hassle and shut down Highway 101 for three hours.
He was standing on an overpass wearing a ski mask and fatigues. He had an American Flag in one hand and a gun in the other. This was beginning to sound like a far-right gun nut protesting a black man running for President of the United States.
I could just imagine the headlines later in the day that would be calling for even greater restriction of our Second Amendment rights; our Civil Rights protected by our Constitution; all because of a crazy white supremacist gun nut.
You had to read down to the third paragraph before the full information comes out: the guy is an Obama supporter. And the paradox is that Obama is against handgun ownership and would ban this guy from possessing one.
The guy only surrendered to police and swat teams after they let him hang an Obama sign on the overpass. There was no word if the banner was removed as per state law.
Actually we have to ask how he obtained the gun, because he is also mentally deranged. That probably explains why he was voting for a far-left liberal Marxist.
