Kwame Kilpatrick, the soon to be ex-mayor of Detroit just plead guilty to two felony charges each punishable by up to 5 years in prison. If a normal person like you did this, you would be serving the 5-year sentences concurrently. If I did it in Detroit, being the conservative I am I would be doing the whole 10 years!
If this was not enough, Kwame must know the judge and DA, because the plea deal has him spending only 120 days (less than three months) at the Gray-Bar Hotel. At least he will have to resign, turn in his law license, which he probably hasn’t used in ages and pay the city $1 million dollars. The fact that he can easily afford the 1-mil fine makes you wonder what corruption payoffs he made just before this plea deal was consummated.
Oh, did I mention that Baraka Obama is a good friend of his? He even supported Kwame in becoming the “Renaissance” Man of Detroit. A whole lot of crooks seem to be in that city’s politics. This is just another example of Obama’s friends being of questionable character – correction: I should have said deplorable character.
